Pink Lantern Sunset
With this picture I tried to frame the pink sunset and a lamp on my driveway. Then in post processing I composed it so the foreground would be framed straight up and I used the rule of thirds to frame the lamp correctly. I then adjusted the colors and saturation to make the image more vibrant.
Snowy TreesWhile I did like the original pink/purple colors of the sunset in the original, I wanted a more filmic look. So I color graded it where the purples are now greens, and I made the colors warmer.
The original image was taken right before the image above and I tried to frame it so the image was split in half, the top is sky, the bottom is ground Nashoba SlopesI did a photoshoot with my ski team towards the end of the season. The worst thing was that everyone's jacket blended in with the background, so I needed to bring down contrast and brighten up the image. I also brought out some detail in the snow.
Starry RoadsMy original goal with this photo was to capture the milky way, however this turned into an interesting composite of a long exposure street photo, and multiple images stacked into the starry background. After compositing the images, I pulled out some more colors and detail in the stars.
Snowy MoonAs winter came to an end, I thought it was fitting to add snow on top of the moon. I took multiple images of the moon at 550mm focal length, and then stacked them together to increase resolution. I then went into blender (a 3d modeling program) and created some snow to put on the moon. I then composited the two images together, I color graded it to be a little more realistic, and pulled out some surface details on the moon.
